Re: Welcome Ezraeil
Thanks for the welcome.
I'm new to Crossfire but an old hat to freelancer. Last server I was on died a lingering and painful death so I stopped playing for a while. If I can help you guys in the game just give me a shout, though right now I'm not worth much, they wiped out all my best known trade routes, and I hate trading in the best of times, asking me to find new ones is close to asking me to take a voluntary lobotomy.
Anyway, hope to see you in the game.

Re: Welcome Ezraeil
Unfortunately, the economy on CF is such that the trade routes change daily... so finding one means getting the most of it that day... because it will be gone tomorrow.
Fortunately, when you have enough money, you can get a good fighting ship and run high level missions on Planet Crossfire in the X3043 system. They pay 400k+ each. Also, when you kill an NPC, they drop escape Pods. If you ran missions against high level NPCs in the Omicron systems, for example... or farmed Corsairs up there in Omicron Gamma, for example, the Escape Pods pay 100k each at any prison in the game.
The hardest missions on Planet Crosfire will usually drop Ace level escape pods, paying 150k each. You can sell them at the Prison in Vega.
So, if you are good with your Guns, you can get a cheap Eagle, load it up with Nomad guns, and run missions. Even the missions against level 10 Xenos in Nome or Hudson (or farming them) drop pods worth 60k each. If you want to go that route, I'd suggest Hudson, since Texas is right next door making selling them easy.

Hi Ezraeil,
.. if you want good, agile and cheap VHF .. look for Red or Black Eagle (Custodian for example). Best place for taking missions is Coalition space in Altair sector (good ships there + you can do hunting pods "safe" ). Welcome on CF!
